Georgia Savage

Georgia Savage is an equity-driven strategist with deep experience across government, public policy, and the nonprofit sector. She brings a proven record of securing transformative public and private investments and advancing systems-level solutions that expand opportunity for communities historically excluded from power.

Georgia began her career as a high school educator in New Mexico and New York, where she saw firsthand how limited access to resources created barriers for her students. These experiences continue to ground her approach and inspired her transition into systems-change work aimed at strengthening civic participation and equity in public systems.

As deputy director of #OaklandUndivided, Georgia helped secure over $35 million in state funding and nearly $1 million in philanthropic support, dramatically expanding high-speed internet access for Oakland residents. She also co-authored Oakland’s 2025 Broadband Master Plan and led statewide digital equity advocacy efforts that brought together legislators and community partners.

Her government experience includes leadership roles in the Oakland Mayor’s Office and City Council, where she supported major policy and budget initiatives and strengthened collaboration between residents and city leadership through strategic communications and public engagement.

Deeply committed to public service and community leadership, Georgia is active in regional civic organizations focused on equity, grassroots mobilization, and the development of emerging progressive leaders.

She lives in Oakland, California, and enjoys photography, traveling, reading, and supporting Chelsea Football Club.
